Belgium and France
Repairing and preparing this site for our forthcoming trip, I saw that I had not posted anything for 2015, though we had an interesting, enjoyable trip. Then I recalled why. We returned from Paris on 12 November, just hours before the attacks.
Email 13 November2015 from the kind owner of our Paris apartment: “Hello Helen, I’m so glad you are home and safe in view of what’s happening in Paris tonight. So awful, so sad.”
Enough time has passed that the happy weeks are not so dulled and complicated by the events following our departure. Hope to post pictures soon from those happy weeks.
